What is KYC?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is a process designed to verify your identity and ensure that our platform remains safe and secure for everyone. It helps us protect you and our community from fraud and misuse. This KYC process is also mandatory to withdraw SG from the app.
How to process the KYC?
To complete the KYC process, follow these steps:
1. Start the Process: Tap "Identity Verification" in your account settings to initiate KYC.
2. Payment: Pay the Verification Fee as required.
3. Identity Confirmation: Provide a clear photo of yourself and your ID card for identity verification.
After following the steps, your verification will be pending. You will receive an email with the results.
KYC Verification Guide
Note: A variety of factors, such as bad lighting or poor photo quality can cause a failed verification. Please make sure your ID scan and selfie meet the following conditions:
1. ID Scan Guide
✅ Make sure that:
・You upload both sides of your ID (front and back).
・The information on your ID is clearly readable within the frame.
・The lighting is bright enough — avoid strong backlight or glare on the ID.
・You hold the ID steady, and the image is not blurry.
・No fingers or other objects are covering any part of the ID.
・The entire ID (all corners and edges) is visible and not tilted.
・There is only one ID visible in the frame.
🤳 2. Selfie Photo Guide
✅ Make sure that:
・Your face occupies more than 70% of the photo.
・The photo is clear, well-lit, and in focus.
・You are facing the camera directly, not tilting or rotating your head.
・Your entire head and shoulders are visible.
・The background is plain white or light-colored, with no shadows.
・Your eyes are open and your mouth is in a neutral expression.
・There are no other people or distracting elements in the frame.
🚫 Avoid:
・Dark or cluttered background
・Blurry or low-quality photo
・Wearing glasses, masks, or hats
・Cropping your forehead or chin
*Starting May 27, 2024, a $30 fee will be charged for the initial KYC process only. No additional fees will apply for future KYC attempts. However, the Verification Fee covers the KYC process but does not guarantee its completion. Bans resulting from KYC are determined by the external service provider, and we cannot disclose specific reasons for such decisions.
