What is KYC?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is a process designed to verify your identity and ensure that our platform remains safe and secure for everyone. It helps us protect you and our community from fraud and misuse. This KYC process is also mandatory to withdraw SG from the app.
To complete the KYC process, follow these steps:
1. Start the Process: Tap "Identity Verification" in your account settings to initiate KYC.
2. Payment: Pay the Verification Fee as required.
3. Phone Number Verification: Complete the phone number verification step.
4. Identity Confirmation: Provide a clear photo of yourself and your ID card for identity verification.
5. After following the steps, your verification will be pending. You will receive an email with the results.
Note: A variety of factors, such as bad lighting or poor photo quality can cause a failed ID verification. Please ensure that you display the precise face of the document when requested during the KYC flow. Also, position your face close to the camera to fit within the oval shape.
*Starting May 27, 2024, a $5 fee will be charged for the initial KYC process only. No additional fees will apply for future KYC attempts. However, the Verification Fee covers the KYC process but does not guarantee its completion. If issues arise with your documents, you'll need to pay the fee again to retry. Bans resulting from KYC are determined by the external service provider, and we cannot disclose specific reasons for such decisions.
