🎥 Tutorial Video: How to connect your wallet and activate the Membership
Connecting your wallet to the SocialGood App is the first step to:
・Activating your Membership
・Earning up to 10% APY staking rewards on the SG you’ve purchased inside the app
・Withdrawing SG from the app
👉 You can securely connect any of the following wallets:
WalletConnect, MetaMask, and Coinbase Wallet.
(WalletConnect can also be used to connect other popular wallets such as Trust Wallet.)
If You Don’t Have a Crypto Wallet Yet
1. Download a wallet app such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or Coinbase Wallet from the Google Play Store or App Store.
💡 If you already hold SG in an external wallet, make sure to back up your recovery phrase before proceeding.
⚠️ Never share your recovery phrase with anyone.
2. Create or import your wallet following the app’s instructions:
・For MetaMask → select “Import Using Secret Recovery Phrase.”
・For Trust Wallet or Coinbase Wallet → select “I already have a wallet.”
・This allows you to access your existing wallet inside the SocialGood App.
How to Connect Your Wallet to the App
1. Open the SocialGood App.
If you plan to use WalletConnect, make sure to fully close the app before starting.
2. Go to one of the following locations:
・"Account page" → tap “Connect My Wallet”
・"Activation Steps" screen
・"Assets" page → tap Your Assets → Staking → Connect My Wallet
3. Select your wallet type (WalletConnect, MetaMask, or Coinbase Wallet).
For Coinbase Wallet, copy and paste the Unique Verification URL shown after selecting it.
4. Your wallet app will open automatically. Log in and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
Be sure to tap “Submit” after signing the message.
5. Return to the SocialGood App.
You’ll see a green checkmark confirming your wallet has been successfully connected.
Important Notes
🪙 No fees:
The wallet connection process doesn’t use the blockchain, so no gas fees are required.
🔒 One wallet per account:
・Each wallet can only be connected to one SocialGood App account.
・To link a different one, you must first disconnect the current wallet.
⚠️ About moving SG:
・If you transfer the SG you purchased through the app outside your connected wallet, you will not receive staking rewards.
・If your wallet balance falls below the required SG amount for Membership, your Membership will automatically be deactivated, and you will lose Membership benefits.
