All data for purchases comes from our partner stores. Therefore, purchases are approved by the store that you shopped from directly and not the SocialGood App.
Purchases are approved by the partner company after they have confirmed in their system that the item has been purchased without being refunded, canceled, or is in any way fraudulent. After they have finished this check, they will approve the purchase and then the status will be updated in our database.
The time it takes for approval depends on the store. You can check the estimated amount of time it will take in the store's condition inside the SocialGood App under "verification period." On average, this is around 3 months because, in order to verify the item wasn't refunded, the item must pass the refund grace period.
The SocialGood App is unable to speed up this process.
Please look inside the app and click on the icon of the store you shopped at inside the "Shopping" tab to see the verification period for the store.
